Welsh writer John Paul Manders and award-winning composer Matthew Brind are bringing a new version of Tickledom to theatres across Wales, including Wales Millennium Centre and Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
Tickledom is a show full of song and laughter and is ideal for children aged 3 – 103. Audiences will meet a host of colourful characters including Princess Violet and her companions Marigold, Dan D Lion, Snapdragon and Doc Leaf as they go on their mission to find the Forget-me-Nots — the only flower that can break the curse put on Tickledom by the evil ice witch, Fluella.
Tickledom is a fun-filled production which gives strong messages of goodness and fairness, friendship, a sense of inclusion of all and awareness of the environment. It is a musical for all the family. The show is performed mainly in English however, in Welsh-speaking areas such as Aberystwyth, there will be considerable use of the Welsh language by the actors during the performance.
The show will visit Aberystwyth Arts Centre on the 13th (7pm) and the 14th (10am) July 2017.
Tickets are available from the Arts Centre Box Office on 01970 62 32 32 or online at www.aberystwythartscentre.co.uk
