February 6, 2018 by

A group of students from Milford Haven School have been working on the programming of two films – ‘Alice in Wonderland’ [2010] (PG) and ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’ (U) – screening to the public at the Torch Theatre during Half Term week, on Monday 19 and Sunday 25 February respectively.

After the screening of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (PG), Young Film Programmers will be expanding the event with an Afternoon Tea Party in conjunction with Café Torch, after the film, where the teas can be pre-booked at the cost of £10.00 per stand. This will include a selection of sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and squash/water. During the tea party, the students will perform a costume parade, serving the afternoon teas in character!

Afternoon Tea must be booked through the Cafe at a charge of £10 and the teas will be served in costume by the students. An Afternoon tea serves 4 people and will be served in the gallery after the film.

Young Film Programmers is a project set up between the collaborative efforts of Film Hub Wales and the Torch Theatre. Young Film Programmers (YFP) aims to expand young people’s knowledge of film programming which includes planning, promotion and all that leads up to the screening.
