Absurdist cult comedy coming to Solva

May 15, 2017 by

The Fire Donkey team is back with a new absurd comedy experience about cults, caravan parks and 90’s adverts for migraine sheets.

Join the Church of Phil recruitment team for a (definitely fictional) memorable introduction to the great Phil himself. Learn about how you can be a part of the world’s number one progressive cultural and spiritual movement.

Witness perhaps the most striking Powerpoint presentation you’re likely to see this year. And brace yourself for some smooth choreographed dances, powerful storytelling, puppetry and a raffle. We’ve got all mediums covered. Expect a very silly show, a lot of fun and confusion, and don’t worry, you won’t really be signing a non-negotiable life-long contract to join a cult. Because it’s definitely not a cult.

Fire Donkey Productions is the work of Liam McKenna and Pembrokeshire’s own Polly Preston, who have been writing and performing comedy under different guises since 2007. They have performed across the UK, taken two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and somehow even ended up performing in Stockholm in front of real life Swedish people.

Door open at 7pm (show starts 7.30pm) £5 on the door (cash only) BYOB Families welcome (contains some references to death)

Fire Donkey Productions presents: Church of Phil Recruitment Seminar (comedy) Solva Memorial Hall, 12th May 7.30pm (Doors 7pm) £5 (tickets on door, cash only)
