Blue Sky Scripts 2

November 13 to November 16, 7.30pm (6.30pm & 8.30pm 16/11)

Alongside the four productions making up Autumn/Winter at The Other Room,  Blue Sky Scripts 2 is a week-long series of one-off readings, scratch performances and daily changing line up of new scripts from some of the very best Welsh and Wales-based writers.

Blue Sky Scripts is a nod back to the YOUR ROOM programme in 2015. This is an opportunity to discover new talent, to offer valuable feedback and help to shape the development of a show that could end up anywhere in the future – and  watch some brilliant artists perform stripped back work.

Flossy and Boo: The Alternativity

Created by Flossy & Boo

December 5 to December 23, 7.30pm

Presented by Flossy & Boo in association with The Other Room

‘Twas the bit before Christmas, which gets longer each year,

And Flossy and Boo were trying to find ‘festive cheer’.

Their stockings were flung on the back of a chair,

With tinsel and crackers shoved in pink and blue hair

But what on earth is ‘a Christmas’?

We just don’t understand!’

Exclaimed the two, drinking eggnog (supermarket own brand)

‘We’ll have to explore further!’ they finally shout,

So come to The Other Room this December, to see what ‘Christmas’ is all about…’

In this cabaret-style theatre show, Flossy and Boo delve into the festive season in all its messy glory, hangovers and all…

Presented by Flossy and Boo in association with The Other Room.
