September 3, 2019 by

Cardiff’s New Theatre has announced this autumn’s season.

Immerse yourself in, not one, but two Shakespeare performances in one week, as the Watermill Theatre Company brings you “A Midsummers Night’s Dream” and “Macbeth”.

Some old favourites return and new productions hit the stage.

The European tour of “Little Miss Sunshine” brings a brand new flavour of comedy and camper vans, while Willy Russell’s classic “Blood Brothers” brings Lyn Paul back for her farewell tour as the iconic Mrs. Johnstone.

Unravel the puzzles in our collection of upcoming murder mysteries. There’s something for everyone, from Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap”, featuring the inimitable Susan Penhaligon, to “hilarous musical whodunit” “Curtains”, starring Jason Manford, Carley Stenson, and Strictly winner Ore Oduba.

Tantalise your senses with Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”, our Halloween treat this October.

Laugh ‘til your sides hurt in the phenomenal, multi award-winning performance “Peter Pan Goes Wrong” or take a step back to the rockin’ rollin’ 50’s for the sensational “Buddy”.
