Go globe trotting at the New

One of the greatest of adventure stories has been adapted for the stage and Jules Verne’s Around The World in 80 Days will float into Cardiff next week (September 19).

London’s New Vic production makes a stop at Cardiff’s New Theatre and recounts the epic tale of Phileas Fogg who bets his life’s fortune that he can travel around the globe in just 80 days.

A cast of 8 play more than 125 characters in an imaginative and physically inventive show which takes audiences on the voyage from the misty alleys of Victorian London to the exotic subcontinent and the Wild West in a glorious race against the clock. The high-spirited escapade includes six trains, five boats, four fights, three dances, two circus acts and an elephant.
