July 29, 2016 by

The new youth arts festival RawFfest GŵylGrai takes place in Newport from 18th to 21st August and promises the very best of theatre, music, art and film being created by young people today.
RawFfest is unique because it has been programmed by young people, for young people. A team of 14 – 25 year olds from all parts of Wales has created an exciting mix of performance, workshops and masterclasses.
Young people have been in the driving seat throughout, working on the programming, marketing and organising. RawFfest GŵylGrai is a totally inclusive festival with something for all 14 – 25 year olds. It will bring creative and energetic young people together over the weekend.
Weekend tickets cost £50 and day tickets £15 and are available from The Riverfront, Newport www.newportlive.co.uk/riverfront
The full programme with detailed information about shows, exhibitions and happenings, as well as dates and times is available at www.rawffest.wales
Thanks to funding from both Arts Council Wales and the Welsh Government, RawFfest GŵylGrai will become an annual festival with the 2017 festival already booked in to Venue Cymru, Llandudno.
