Live Under the Stars is at Cardiff Caste from August 1 to 11 with a mixture of entertainment genres from local singing groups to Welsh opera and musicals singers to children’s shows. There is still good tickets availability for all shows (as of July 23)
Sunday 1 August 2021 @ 5.00pm – Cardiff Castle Summer Prom
Welsh opera singers including the acclaimed soprano Rhian Lois, who is currently starring in Garsington Opera’s Amadigi, tenor Trystan Llyr Griffiths, and baritone Steffan Lloyd Owen, are performing in a summer concert with local young performers and current royal harpist Alis Huws, with a chamber orchestra.
Monday 2 August 2021 @ 8.00pm – Only Men Aloud and Friends
Joined by musicals singer John Owen Jones (above), Welsh singing group Only Men Aloud concert will feature many different styles of music.
Tuesday 3 August @ 8.00pm – Walk Like a Man, A night with the Jersey Boys
Walk Like a Man is a tribute show to Frankie Valli & The Four Season, The Jersey Boys.
Wednesday 4 August @8.00pm- Magic of Motown
Celebrating 60 years of Motown music.
Thursday 5 August 2021 @ 8.00pm – My My Abba at the Castle
My My! pays homage to the original Swedish pop group Abba.
Friday 6 August 2021 @ 8.00pm – Whitney Queen of the Night
This tribute show includes hits such as I Wanna Dance With Somebody, One Moment In Time, I’m Every Woman, I Will Always Love You, My Love Is Your Love, So Emotional Baby, Run to You, Saving All My Love, How Will I Know, Million Dollar Bill, The Greatest Love Of All.
Saturday & Sunday 7 & 8 August 2021 @ 8.00pm – Bring them Home, Wales from the West End
